Shipping Policy

At Cheng’s Parts Place LLC, we supply HVAC parts, plumbing components, and professional tools. Due to the nature of these products, special handling and shipping requirements may apply.

Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next business day.

  • Oversized equipment, freight shipments, special-order items, and bulk tool orders may require additional processing time.

Shipping Methods & Delivery

  • Available shipping methods and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Freight shipments are typically curbside delivery only and may require a delivery appointment.

Shipping Rates

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, size, destination, and shipping method.

  • Large HVAC equipment, plumbing fixtures, and heavy-duty tools may incur additional freight or handling charges.

Tracking

  • Tracking information is provided once the order ships, when available.

  • Freight and oversized tool shipments may have limited tracking updates.

Shipping Limitations

  • We currently ship within the United States.

  • Certain HVAC, plumbing, and professional-grade tools may have shipping or carrier restrictions.

Carrier Delays & Liability

  • Cheng’s Parts Place LLC is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, supply chain disruptions, or incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.

  • Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the shipment is handed over to the carrier.

Returns & Refunds Policy (HVAC, Plumbing & Tools)

Due to the technical, safety, and professional-use nature of HVAC parts, plumbing components, and tools, all returns are subject to the following conditions.

Return Eligibility

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

  • Items must be:

    • New, unused, and uninstalled

    • Unopened where applicable

    • In original packaging with all manuals, accessories, and manufacturer seals intact

  • Proof of purchase is required.

  • A Return Authorization (RA) must be approved before any item is returned.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Installed or attempted-to-install HVAC or plumbing parts

  • Electrical components (control boards, capacitors, thermostats, ignitors, motors, sensors)

  • Refrigerant-related components once opened

  • Tools that show signs of use, wear, or damage

  • Power tools once opened or used

  • Specialty, calibrated, or safety-related tools

  • Clearance, liquidation, or final-sale items

  • Custom, special-order, or made-to-order products

  • Items damaged due to improper use, installation, handling, or lack of professional installation

Professional Use Disclaimer

Many HVAC, plumbing, and tool products sold are intended for licensed professionals. Improper use or installation voids return eligibility and may void manufacturer warranties.

Return Process

  1. Contact info@chengspartsplace.com or 844-982-1160 to request a Return Authorization.

  2. Provide your order number, item details, and reason for return.

  3. Approved returns must be shipped back using a trackable shipping method.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Freight, oversized equipment, and heavy tool return costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Refunds

  • Returned items are inspected upon receipt.

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  • Refund processing typically takes 5–10 business days.

  • Restocking fees may apply, especially for large HVAC equipment, plumbing fixtures, or bulk tool orders.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

  • Inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.

  • Any damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label may be required to process claims.
