1. Valve Spring Compression Tool: Allows you to replace rocker arms, lash adjusters, and other valve components without removing the camshaft. Make sure the arm that pushes the spring retainer has a clear downward path. If the arm hangs on the cast feature of the valve head when attempting to compress the valve spring, it could place undue stress on the tool.
2. Crankshaft Alignment Tool: Position the crankshaft at top dead center for proper timing chain installation. Do not turn crankshaft and/or camshaft while timing chain is removed and cylinder head installed. Since this is not a freewheeling engine, if it has "jump time" it will damage the valves and/or piston, which will require removal of the cylinder head.
3. Cam Phaser Fixing/Locking Tool: Installed according to your vehicle's service manual to torque the camshaft phaser bolts to specification to make your job easier. To prevent equipment damage, use only hand tools to install and remove the camshaft phaser sprocket assembly.
4. Timing Chain Lockout Tool: Easily replace camshafts or cam phasers on your vehicle without losing chain tension and removing the timing cover. Do not disassemble the tool at any time during servicing. If the tool is removed, the timing chain will move overtime and the front cover must be removed to re-adjust the timing of the engine.
5. Cam Phase Lock Kit: When a worn phase moves back and forth, eliminates noise and prevents it from happening again in the future, triggering valve timing adjustments as it moves.
6. Material: metal
7. Package includes:
- Valve spring compression tool x 1
- Cam phase lock tool x 1
- Crankshaft alignment tool x 1
- Crankshaft pulley bolt x 1
- Cam phaser lock x 2
